PostalionTerms

Terms, licences and refunds.

Short, in plain words. The free plugin is GPL software; Pro is a yearly licence sold through Freemius; refunds are fourteen days, no questions.

Last updated 23 October 2026. These terms cover the free plugin, Postalion Pro and this website. Where a sentence here contradicts the law where you live, the law wins.

Who you are dealing with

FantasyThemes is the trading name of Alex Gurghis, Romania. Payments for Pro are taken by Freemius, Inc., which acts as the reseller: Freemius charges your card or PayPal, issues the invoice, adds VAT or sales tax where it applies, and processes refunds. Your payment details never reach FantasyThemes.

The free plugin

Postalion is free software under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later. You may use it on any number of sites, change it and pass it on under the same licence. It is provided as is, without warranty, as the GPL says. Support for the free plugin is offered on the WordPress.org forum as time allows.

Postalion Pro

  • What you buy. A licence key that activates the Pro add-on on the number of sites in your plan (one, five or unlimited) for one year, with updates and priority support for that year. The Pro code is also GPL; the key is what unlocks updates and support.
  • Renewal. Licences renew yearly at the regular price unless you cancel before the renewal date in your Freemius account. Freemius sends a reminder before charging. If you do not renew, the add-on keeps working as it is; you stop getting updates and support.
  • Founder's price. The first fifty licences are sold at forty percent off for the first year. Renewals are at the regular price.
  • Moving sites. You may deactivate a key on one site and activate it on another from your account, within your plan's number of sites.
  • Support. Priority support means an answer by email within one working day, Monday to Friday, Romanian time, from Alex. It covers the plugin's behaviour on a standard WordPress site; it does not cover custom development or your host's mail setup beyond pointing you the right way.

Refunds

Fourteen days from the purchase, full refund, no questions, for any Pro plan. Ask from your Freemius account or through the support form. After fourteen days, a refund is at our discretion; we will not be unreasonable if the plugin genuinely does not do what this site says it does. Renewals can be refunded within fourteen days of the charge.

Your data and your readers' data

Subscribers and emails stay in your own WordPress database. Neither the free plugin nor Pro sends them to FantasyThemes. Pro, through Freemius, sends your licence key, site address and plugin version to check the licence and offer updates; nothing about your subscribers. This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics; forms you fill in here go to Alex by email. The privacy page explains what the plugin does on your site.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, FantasyThemes is not liable for indirect losses from using the plugin, such as lost revenue or lost subscribers, and total liability is limited to what you paid for Pro in the last twelve months. Email delivery depends on your server, your mail provider and the receiving side; the plugin hands your email to them correctly, and that is where its responsibility ends.

Changes

These terms may change when Pro changes. The date at the top moves and, for anything that matters to existing licences, you get an email. Continuing to use Pro after that means you accept the new terms.
