Real screens from Postalion Pro 0.2, as it runs today. The design follows the free plugin: the same frame, the same type, one more entry in the menu.
01 · Sequences
A series of letters, sent on their own.
Someone signs up, buys, or gets a tag. From that moment a sequence takes over: the first email right away, the second three days later, the third a week after that. Each one is written in the same composer as a newsletter, with the same templates and placeholders.
- 01Start on sign-up to a list, on a tag, or on a WooCommerce order
- 02Any number of steps; wait in days or hours between them
- 03Stop when the person buys, gets a tag, or unsubscribes
- 04Per-step numbers: how many got each email, how many left before it

02 · Segments
Send to the people who act, not just the people who joined.
Free sends to lists, tags and field values. Pro adds what people did: opened the last three newsletters, clicked a link about tickets, bought in the last ninety days, or did nothing for six months. Save the rule as a segment; it is current every time you send.
- 01Rules on opens, clicks, orders, sign-up date and inactivity
- 02Combine with lists and tags: "customers who opened one of the last three"
- 03Saved segments as the audience of a newsletter, the digest or the new-post email
- 04A count before you send, and the list of who is in

03 · WooCommerce
The emails a shop sends on its own.
Free puts customers on your list and tags them. Pro writes to them at the right moment: an hour after a cart is left, a week after an order, three months after the last one. Each is a sequence, so you can add a second and a third step.
- 01Abandoned cart: the products left behind, a link back to the cart
- 02Post-purchase: a thank-you, a how-to, a review ask, days apart
- 03Win-back: customers who have not ordered in a while
- 04Order placeholders: {order_total}, {product_names}, {cart_link}

04 · Support
A person who knows the code, within a working day.
Free support happens on the WordPress.org forum, and it will keep happening there. Pro adds a private channel: write, get an answer from the person who wrote the plugin, usually the same day and always within one working day, Monday to Friday.
- 01Email support from your account, with your site's details already known
- 02Help with SMTP and deliverability setups
- 03Your requests weigh more on the roadmap
- 04Updates for the year, one licence per site
Support Ticket 214
Digest went out twice on Monday. Cron runs every five minutes on our host. Any idea?
Two cron runners overlapped. 1.5.1 locks the digest job; it is in the update waiting on your site. Sorry for the double letter.
The line between them
Pro adds. It never takes away.
Everything on the Features page stays in the free plugin, with no subscriber or sending limits, and keeps getting updates. Pro is for the things a shop or a larger list needs next.
