I have built WordPress themes and plugins since 2010, and I have watched newsletter tools go the same way again and again: a generous free tier, then a logo in your emails, then a cap on subscribers, then a monthly bill that grows with the list you built. Postalion is the plugin I wanted instead.
What it stands for
- Your list is yours. Subscribers live in your WordPress database. Export them any time. Nothing is sent to a server of mine.
- Free means free. No subscriber limits, no sending limits, no logo, no account. The free plugin is complete, and it keeps every feature it has.
- Pro pays the bills. Sequences, segments by behaviour, WooCommerce automations and priority support, for the sites that need them. That is what keeps the free plugin maintained.
- Plain over clever. Tables that email clients understand, settings you can read in an afternoon, no page of toggles you have to guess at.

This site
No cookies, no analytics, no fonts or scripts from other domains. The pages are plain HTML served by a small WordPress plugin, and the newsletter you can join here is sent with Postalion itself.
